About the role

Operates company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area. Performs related customer service functions.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED
• Minimum Experience: Six (6) months courier experience preferred
• Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge
• Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Ability to lift 50 lbs, ability to maneuver packages of any weight, good human relations and verbal communication skills, thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred, demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods, must be at least 21 years of age, ability to read and speak English sufficiently, neat appearance, meet and maintain qualifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations, requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations, non-covered safety-sensitive position, ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Consistently lift 50 pounds
• High School / GED Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License consistently for the past two years
• Must successfully complete a Federal Drug screen and background check

Job Conditions

• Neat appearance since customer contact is required
• Must meet and maintain the qualifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age

• High School / GED Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License consistently for the past two years

Pay

Starting Pay: $22.30

Additional Details: Full-Time Swing Courier / Mon-Fri / 7AM-6PM / Hours and shifts will vary by route and day.
