About the role
Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages; checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service; provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; provides related customer service functions.

Requirements
- Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED
- Minimum Experience: Six (6) months courier experience preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must meet and maintain qualifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Must have a valid driver's license in accordance with state requirements for type of vehicle assigned and have a good driving record as outlined in policy
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
- Must have good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Must have thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
- Must demonstrate skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
Qualifications
- Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance
Job Conditions
- Must have a neat appearance since customer contact is required
- Must work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
Preferred Qualifications
- Monday through Friday 8:45am to 3:00pm
- All shifts are based on operational needs

Pay
- Current Hourly Wage: $22.30
- Pay Range: Over Time: $22.30 - $33.84
