About the role

Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages; checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards; provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; performs related customer service functions.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED
• Minimum Experience: Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate area knowledge.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to lift 50 lbs, ability to maneuver packages of any weight, good human relations and verbal communication skills, thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred, demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods, must be at least 21 years of age, ability to read and speak English sufficiently, neat appearance, meet and maintain qualifications as outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations, requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations, non-covered safety-sensitive position, ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a clean driving record

Skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
• Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods

Benefits

• Full Time M-F, 6:30am-8:00pm Peak Sat. Pay $26.70/hour

Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with your state requirements for type of vehicle assigned and have a good driving record as outlined in policy. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
