Description of Work
Staff Supervision: Train fiscal staff and monitor daily tasks and assigned projects.
Budget Preparation: Prepare state and county budgets by reviewing expenditures and projecting program costs.
Financial Reporting: Oversee completion of state and federal expenditure reports and ensure compliance with regulations.
Audit Coordination: Assist with audit preparation and participate in required reviews.
Revenue Management: Administer mandated reports for federal and state reimbursements including multiple funding streams.
Eligibility Review: Oversee review of applications to determine medical coverage and Title IV-E eligibility for children entering placement.
Qualifications
- Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a County Fiscal Officer 1; or Two years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or Four years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related associate’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.
