The PA Liquor Control Board, Office of Asset Protection is seeking a highly motivated professional candidate to join our team in an analytical and hands-on role. This position supports accurate and efficient inventory practices that provide reliable information for operational decision making at our Eastern Region Distribution Center in Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and review audits and cycle counts for all inventory stored in the regional warehouse distribution center.
- Prepare clear reports summarizing audit findings, unaccountable discrepancies, damages, and associated or mitigating factors.
- Review and analyze exception and damage reports, then investigate discrepancies.
- Analyze adjustments and reconcile outstanding inventory issues.
- Evaluate physical surroundings and inventory processes to identify risks of inventory loss.
- Work with third-party logistics providers to monitor inventory accuracy and improve related processes.
Requirements
- One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Must meet Pennsylvania residency requirements.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
- Must pass a background investigation. Applicants with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment are not permitted to work for the PLCB. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Schedule
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework is not available for this position.
