Corporate M&A Associate (Mid-Senior Level)
About the Role
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has a dynamic full-time employment opportunity for a mid-senior level Associate in our Corporate Practice. This is a location flexible position primarily working with attorneys in the Corporate practices of our Tampa and Fort Lauderdale offices. Consideration will be given to interested candidates across multiple East Coast office locations, with this team frequently working across the GT platform. GT is consistently among the top firms on the Am Law Global 100; the associate will have the opportunity to work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of significant experience in corporate transactions with an emphasis on public M&A, take-private transactions and general corporate governance
- Strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and other documentation used in complex M&A transactions and proficiency in drafting the same
- Well-versed in the mechanics of leading an M&A transaction from inception to closing and have experience leading due diligence teams
- Strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility, work independently and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team across practice areas
- Strong academic credentials and writing skills are essential
Pay & Benefits
The Expected Pay Range For This Position Is $250,000 - 360,000 per year. Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials in locations where market pay differs from the national average.
