Pay
$20.57 to $30.86 per hour (based on experience). Offers for external candidates are generally made between the minimum and midpoint of the range.

Qualifications
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification required
- A minimum of two (2) years of surgical experience and one (1) year leadership experience
- Experience and knowledge in surgical instrument handling and processing
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Sterilization certification through IAHCSMM OR CBSPD required
- Knowledge of supply chain in surgical setting preferred
- Previous core supervisor experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensures that all core technicians are properly trained on basic aspects of sterile processing and the preparation of case carts.
- Assesses departmental processes and develops plans to improve processes as needed.
- Assists with the operation of the surgical core, instrument rooms, and operating room as well the prosthesis and supply areas.
- Coordinates and performs daily activities that support the surgical practice.
- Practices good inventory control techniques.
- Covers for the Prosthesis Coordinator in their absence.
- Provides supervision of staff and vendors to the core, and/or the supply and prosthesis areas, maintains inventory, instrumentation, implant management and maintenance, and updates the surgical inventory management system.
- Other duties as assigned.
