Coordinator, Transportation Area - 250 Day

About the role

This position is highly skilled, managerial work. The employee plans and coordinates an assigned area of Transportation to assure the safe and efficient transportation of students in Prince William County Public Schools.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, schedules, and assesses personnel directly in the provision of services.
• Manages bus routes, load levels, and daily operations.
• Provides guidance to route managers, routing analysts, and bus dispatchers in resolving operational tasks.
• Leads and supervises subordinates within the section.
• Serves as the primary public relations facilitator between the Transportation Department and the general public.
