About the role

This position is highly skilled project management work regarding all aspects of planning, design, construction, and renovation of all School Division facilities. This position performs work under the supervision of the Supervisor of Construction.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements project plans and schedules
  • Coordinates with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
  • Monitors project progress and makes adjustments as necessary
  • Ensures compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards
  • Manages project budgets and resources
  • Prepares and presents project reports and updates to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in educational facility construction
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards applicable to educational facilities
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6
  • Ability to travel as needed

Pay

$X per hour / $Y per year, depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed
