Job Responsibilities
- Support league operations, including scheduling, registration, communication, and game-day management on site during the weekends (December-March).
- Organize registration and administrative requirements to ensure a seamless participant experience for league of over 1000 teams and 14,000 participants.
- Collaborate with director of league operations to ensure league and tournaments are appropriately staffed and operationally supported.
- Ensure all programs operate within club risk management standards while maintaining strong relationships with clubs, league partners, and external organizations.
- Manage new and existing partnerships with key youth and community soccer stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant youth soccer work experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including weekends from late November through mid-March.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in sports, recreation or similar field of study.
- Knowledge of the U.S. youth soccer landscape, particularly in Chicagoland.
- Knowledge of youth sports registration software (LeagueApps).
