Soccer League Coordinator

Seasonal Soccer Shots runs the recreational soccer league for children ages PreK–8th grade.

About the role

We are looking for 1–2 detail-oriented and passionate part-time, seasonal league coordinators for our soccer league at the Lockport Township Park District.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our team of coaches to ensure the league runs smoothly, including problem-solving as needed.
• Field set-up and clean-up.
• Coaching teams and practices.
• Answering parents' questions regarding the league while at practices and games.

Schedule

• Preseason meeting: August 25th, 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm.
• League dates: September 1st – October 24th.
• Weekly hours:
  • Tuesdays/Thursdays: 4:45 pm – 7:15 pm.
  • Saturdays: 8:30 am – noon (except October 3rd: 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm).
• Opportunity to continue with winter and spring leagues through the Lockport Township Park District.

Location

Dellwood Park at the Lockport Township Park District.

Requirements

• Reliable and always on time; rarely calls off or is late.
• Ability to speak clearly and confidently to parents, kids, and park district staff.
• Knowledge of soccer.
• Passion for soccer and teaching the sport to children of all backgrounds and abilities.
• Over 18 and out of high school.

Pay
