Soccer League Coordinator

Soccer Shots runs the recreational soccer league for children ages PreK-8th grade. Our league continues to grow and we are looking for a part-time, seasonal league coordinator to join our team at the Lockport Township Park District.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our team of coaches to ensure the league runs smoothly, including problem-solving as needed.
• Field set-up and clean-up.
• Coaching teams and practices.
• Answering parents' questions regarding the league during practices and games.

Schedule

• Season: September 1st - October 24th
• Tuesdays/Thursdays: 4:45 pm - 7:15 pm
• Saturdays: 8:30 am - 11:30 am (except October 3rd, 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm)
• Preseason meeting: August 25th, 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

If interested in continuing, winter and spring league opportunities are available through the Lockport Township Park District.

Requirements

• Reliable and always on time; rarely calls off or is late.
• Ability to speak clearly and confidently with parents, kids, and park district staff.
• Knowledge of soccer.
• Passion for soccer and teaching the sport to children of all backgrounds and abilities.
• Must be over 18 and out of high school.
