Job Overview
The Coordinator II Project Support provides essential administrative and logistical assistance to project teams, ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of Primoris Energy Services projects. This role supports project managers and other team members by managing project documentation, tracking progress, and facilitating communication to maintain project timelines and objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, reports, schedules, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Aid in the creation and distribution of project-related communications, meeting minutes, and presentations.
- Track project progress against established timelines and budgets, identifying potential deviations and escalating concerns to project managers.
- Cook up and schedule meetings, travel arrangements, and site visits for project teams.
- Process and reconcile invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders related to projects.
- Support project managers in resource allocation and tracking of equipment and materials.
- Act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding project-related inquiries.
- Aid in the onboarding and offboarding of project personnel, including access requests and equipment provisioning.
- Perform general administrative duties as required to support project operations.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Two to four years of experience in an administrative support or project coordination role, preferably within the energy, construction, or utility sector.
- Essential proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
