The Coordinator II Billing plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of Primoris Energy Services by accurately and efficiently processing billing activities. This position ensures timely and correct invoicing, contributing to the overall financial health and client satisfaction for projects within the 43427 APEX division.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely invoices to clients based on contract terms, project progress, and approved work orders.
- Review and verify all billing-related documentation, including timesheets, material receipts, and subcontractor invoices, for accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve issues with project managers, clients, and other departments.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
- Aid in month-end and year-end close processes related to billing and accounts receivable.
- Generate various billing reports, including aging reports, progress reports, and ad-hoc analyses, as requested.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve billing processes and ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. 2-4 years of experience in a billing, accounts receivable, or related financial support role, preferably within the energy services or construction industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential. Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Viewpoint) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Understanding of basic accounting principles and billing cycles.
