Job Overview

The Subcontracts Coordinator supports the procurement and administration of subcontracts, ensuring timely and compliant execution of projects within Primoris Energy Services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Aid in the preparation, review, and execution of subcontract agreements, including scope of work, terms and conditions, and pricing schedules.
  • Facilitate the pre-qualification and selection of subcontractors, maintaining a comprehensive database of approved vendors.
  • Cook up requests for proposals (RFPs) and bids, and assist in the evaluation of subcontractor proposals.
  • Monitor subcontract performance, including adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Process change orders, claims, and invoices related to subcontracts, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date subcontract files, records, and relevant documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between project managers, legal counsel, and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure smooth communication.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, federal regulations, and client requirements related to subcontracting.
  • Generate reports on subcontract status, spend, and performance metrics as required.
  • Participate in meetings with project teams and subcontractors to discuss project progress and address any concerns.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in subcontracts administration, procurement, or project coordination within the construction, energy, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of subcontracting principles, contract law, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or project management software is a plus.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
