Subcontracts Coordinator - Primoris Energy Services - Hubbard, Texas
Job Overview
Job Responsibilities
- Aid in the preparation, review, and distribution of subcontract agreements, amendments, and related documents.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date subcontract files, both physical and electronic.
- Track and monitor subcontract compliance, including insurance certificates, lien waivers, and other required documentation.
- Cook with project managers, legal, and other departments to facilitate subcontract execution and closeout.
- Process and track subcontract invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.
- Respond to inquiries from subcontractors and internal stakeholders regarding subcontract status and requirements.
- Prepare reports and summaries related to subcontract activities as needed.
- Identify potential issues or discrepancies in subcontract documents and escalate to appropriate personnel.
- Support the negotiation process by gathering and organizing relevant information.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to subcontract management.
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably within the construction or energy services industry.
- Prior experience with subcontract administration or procurement is a significant plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with construction project lifecycles and associated documentation.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
