Posted range: $24.00/Hourly - $37.88/Hourly. The base salary range represents a good faith salary range for this position. This role is eligible for annual incentive pay and has the opportunity for continued salary growth. About the Role
Assist in coordinating and administering the asset capital planning, design, project delivery, and construction of water resource projects. Perform tasks including data input/analysis, procurement, capital program spend tracking, fixed asset and job cost order processing, expense spend tracking, inventory control, asset records management, preparation and maintenance of documentation, general support, and special projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer functional support work processes for asset capital planning, design, project delivery, and construction of water resource system projects (35%)
- Input and analyze data for department work processes, business systems, and reports; prepare variance reports as required (20%)
- Assist in preparation of documents related to the investment budget and monitor expenditures to align with Capital Investment Management policies (15%)
- Prepare, analyze, or contribute to key performance indicator reports, balanced scorecard reports, business performance reviews, and MD Reports (10%)
- Support procurement of materials and services using business systems and procurement agreements (10%)
- Prepare and maintain files, records, drawings, reports, maps, charts, budgets, and other data related to engineering and construction projects (10%)
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required
- Associate’s Degree in Applied Science, Engineering, or Engineering Technology preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in utility operations, engineering, construction, or business administration support
Skills
- General knowledge of business practices and principles, including basic budgeting and accounting
- Proficiency in computer programs, databases, and software to support specific assignments
- Knowledge of water or other utility operations preferred
