Role Summary

Rowan Digital Infrastructure is looking for a Senior Associate, Contract Compliance to join our Legal Department. This position is responsible for supporting and advancing the company’s contract compliance function by ensuring contractual obligations are clearly identified, assigned, tracked, and fulfilled across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement scalable systems to track compliance with contractual obligations, including relating to leases, construction contracts, utility contracts, project financing documents and credit agreements, and other project delivery agreements.

  • Lead and support efforts to transition from manual tracking to more automated and centralized compliance systems as the program matures.

  • Maintain compliance calendars, covenant trackers, and supporting documentation.

  • Escalate any potential risks, missed deadlines, and compliance concerns promptly and clearly.

  • Serve as a central point of contact for contract compliance questions and help stakeholders understand their responsibilities under agreements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and adherence to all contractual requirements.

  • Identify and mitigate compliance risks through proactive monitoring and reporting.

  • Collect and analyze data to anticipate risks and improve compliance programs.

Education, Skills, And Experience

  • BA degree or equivalent

  • 3+ years of contract compliance or comparable experience, preferably within an in-house legal department

  • Proven experience in contract compliance management, including implementing or managing contract compliance programs, preferably in the data center, construction, energy, real estate, or finance industries

  • Familiarity with project-based environments and legal documentation

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively across departments while managing multiple deadlines

  • Technologically savvy, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Smartsheet, and contract lifecycle management platforms

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
