Construction Account Executive I

About the role

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Construction business group within Aon. This role will be hybrid working from our Green Bay, WI office.

Responsibilities

  • Market new and renewal business, handling all aspects of the placements from initial market selection through policy delivery to client.
  • Ensure that placements are handled correctly and on time.
  • Build and maintain detailed knowledge of Casualty insurance marketplace, products and services.
  • Develop productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters and Aon local office teams.
  • Identify and analyze prospect and client exposures.
  • Cook up and coordinate activities with other internal units as required to meet customer needs.
  • Present to local account executives, participate in RFPs, occasional client meetings and conference calls.
  • Key member of the client facing team, acting as a trusted advisor to the executive level client in broking, designing, selling and servicing complex accounts.
  • Responsible for planning, scheduling, resourcing and implementing large projects/programs.
  • Frequently interacts with senior level colleagues and clients, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or clients and the company.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of Casualty insurance brokerage and/or underwriting experience.
  • Solid understanding of carrier underwriting practices & processes.
  • Validated leadership skills in working with teams and ability to work with clients and to optimally exceed client expectations.
  • Proven client facing skills including effective presentations & communications.
  • Proven organization and ability to work with others.
  • Experience in resource deployment and utilization management.
  • Effective communication skills, enabling interaction at multiple levels.
  • Must maintain appropriate broker’s license.

Pay

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $100,000 - $150,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

Schedule

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
