About the role

Law firm is seeking a Conflicts Researcher to join their Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct conflicts checks and research for new client matters and attorney hires
• Perform corporate and entity research using online databases and firm resources
• Partner with attorneys and legal staff to gather information for new matters and identify all relevant parties
• Develop search strategies and analyze conflicts search results for accuracy and relevance
• Prepare clear, concise conflicts reports and communicate findings to attorneys and firm stakeholders
• Maintain and update the firm's conflicts database with client and related-party information

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 1+ year of experience in legal required; an internship or work experience is preferred
• Experience conducting in-depth online and corporate research
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, research, and critical thinking skills

Pay

Salary Range: $57,000–$74,000
