Conference Services Manager

About the Role

The Conference Services Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch Resort in Tucson, AZ. This role oversees the planning and execution of conferences, meetings, and special events, working closely with clients from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Managing event logistics
• Coordinating room setups and audiovisual needs
• Preparing banquet event orders
• Ensuring clear communication between sales, catering, culinary, and operations teams
• Monitoring event timelines and budgets
• Supporting on-site client needs
• Proactively resolving issues to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction
• Contributing to service standards, process improvements, and the resort's reputation as a premier destination for meetings and events

Qualifications

• Prior experience in catering or event management
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
