Concrete Finisher Journeyman – Duroc Data Center Project in Abilene, Texas.

Pay

Pay Rate: $33.00 – $35.00 (based on certification). Incentive Rate: $10.00 (combined with base rate). Per Diem (if eligible): $178.00 per day worked.

Schedule

5 × 10‑hour days (subject to change).

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits at all times and promote safety to others.
• Maintain proficient working knowledge of and experience with rotating equipment.
• Assist immediate supervisor with upcoming tasks.
• Coordinate work with other crafts and co‑workers on the job.
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Select type and size of related materials according to job specifications.
• Inspect bracing and shoring of concrete forms, ensuring stability before and during pouring.
• Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for material requirements such as mixes, admixtures, curing compounds, grouts, and sealants commonly used on an industrial site.
• Ensure proper permits have been obtained and understand all permit requirements.
• Prioritize tasks according to job schedule and work sequence.
• Assist in industrial carpentry, reinforcing iron and rebar, and site layout as needed.

Requirements

• Pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.
• Minimum of 48 + months verifiable work experience within the concrete finisher craft.
