Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits at all times and promote safety to others.
• Assist immediate supervisor with future tasks to be completed.
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Select type and size of related materials according to job specifications.
• Inspect bracing and shoring of concrete forms ensuring stability before and during pouring.
• Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to the type of material required such as various mixes, admixtures, curing compounds, grouts, and sealants commonly used on an industrial site.
• Ensure proper permits have been obtained and can read & understand all permits.
• Prioritize tasks according to job schedule and work sequence.
• Assist in industrial carpentry, reinforcing iron and rebar, and site layout as needed.
• Safely use hand and power tools.
• Unload materials, inspect items as directed by the journeyman, and assist in the maintenance of laydown areas and project work areas.

Requirements

• Pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.
• 0 to 48+ verifiable work experience within the craft level.

Pay

Base pay rate: $21.45 – $33.00 per hour (based on experience).

Incentive rate: $10.00 per hour (combined with base rate).

Per diem (if eligible): $178.00 per day worked.

Schedule

Work schedule: 5x10’s (subject to change).
