Concierge - Downtown Seattle

About the role

The ideal Concierge candidate is passionate about helping people, detail oriented, results driven and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day.

Responsibilities

• Aid customers with card services account inquiries and payments, gift packaging, and other services like package and coat check
• Support store sales by connecting customers to salespeople and promoting Nordstrom products, services, and events such as the Nordstrom Rewards program and gift cards
• Provide customers and employees with local information and directions
• Assist store operations by serving as a general resource for customers and employees and making deliveries
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality

Requirements

• Familiarity with social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter
• Strong computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of the city and Nordstrom history
• A strong sense of urgency, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and customers both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule based on business needs

Pay

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations.

Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

At Nordstrom, the commission most selling employees receive varies based on the merchandise they sell. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%. The commission Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive is 3%.
