Community Resource Officer - Closes 8/7/2026

Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the Administrative Lieutenant, provides prevention awareness activities to the community and serves as a liaison between the Southern Ute Police Department and the community.

Education And Experience

• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have experience working with children.
• Must never have been convicted of a felony or a crime of misdemeanor domestic violence in Tribal, State, or Federal court.
• Must not have been convicted of or placed on a deferred judgment for any misdemeanor crime for 1 year prior to appointment.
• Must have general computer experience.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License for state of residency and be insurable through the Tribal Vehicle Insurance policy.
• Must be of excellent character and reputation and pass a thorough background check including fingerprints.

Pay

$21.48/hour
