Role Description

We are looking to recruit a Community Development Officer to maintain and expand our exciting range of activities across County Durham. The hours can suit you, part time, full time or job share, your choice.

Salary and Benefits

We are offering a starting salary of £27,345 with up to 5% pension contributions. The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with older people
  • Experience of developing and facilitating co-produced provision
  • Experience of engaging communities in needs-led development
  • Great communication skills and empathy
  • Patience and positivity
  • Organisation and planning skills
  • The ability to generate positive effects and contribute to someone's ability to move forward towards their version of a good life
