About the role
As a Community Liaison, you will be the trusted face of hospice services, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with physicians, healthcare partners, and referral sources. Your mission is to educate the community about hospice services, growing awareness and preference for patient-centered care. This role offers a rewarding blend of outreach, marketing, and patient advocacy, empowering families to access the support they need during critical moments.
Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture professional relationships within healthcare settings.
- Educate the community about hospice services to grow awareness and preference for patient-centered care.
- Navigate complex conversations about sensitive topics with professionalism and respect.
- Represent hospice services at community and healthcare events.
- Travel regularly within Middlesex County for outreach and relationship-building.
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of sales or marketing experience in healthcare; hospice or palliative care marketing preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, empathetic approach.
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance for travel throughout Middlesex County.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly within Middlesex County.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, though additional relevant experience may substitute.
- Prior clinical experience or familiarity with hospice and palliative care services.
- Experience working with physicians, hospital discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, and social workers.
- Marketing contract management and knowledge of healthcare regulations.
- Comfort using digital tools for outreach and reporting.
Pay
Competitive salary range of $80,000 - $98,000 annually plus uncapped commission.
