About the role
The Data Foundation Account Executive role is a prime position within Salesforce, carrying quota for both MuleSoft and Informatica. You will architect the Data Foundation that makes autonomous agents possible, helping CIOs move beyond simple chatbots to deploy AI agents across the entire enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Own the Data Foundation mandate, driving ACV across both MuleSoft and Informatica.
- Lead deep-dive sessions with CIOs and Data Architects to uncover fragmented systems and data quality issues.
- Orchestrate the ecosystem, commercially engaging with both MuleSoft and Informatica, while partnering with technical specialists to solve complex data gravity problems.
- Identify "AI-Ready" whitespace, showing CIOs, Heads of Operations, or CFOs how MuleSoft's integration layer and Informatica's data management capabilities combine to automate workflows and prepare the enterprise for an autonomous future.
- Translate technical capabilities into high-level business ROI, proving that a robust Data Foundation built on MuleSoft and Informatica is essential for AI and data investments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience, with a proven track record selling complex, technical solutions to C-suite executives, particularly CIOs and CTOs.
- Executive business acumen, able to translate technical capabilities into board-level business outcomes.
- Comfortable navigating and leading in a heavily matrixed environment, aligning internal stakeholders and mobilizing extended teams.
- Experience as the commercial quarterback in a team-selling model, coordinating technical specialists, solution engineers, and partner resources to deliver as one unified solution.
- Ai & Data curiosity, a natural interest in the evolving AI and agentic landscape, and the ability to connect data and integration strategy to real-world AI outcomes.
- Familiarity with the integration and API market landscape, including key trends, competitive dynamics, and customer pain points.
