Commercial Prime Territory Account Executive - Data Foundation
About the role
The Data Foundation Account Executive (DFAE) plays a pivotal role in architecting the Data Foundation that makes autonomous agents possible. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen, focusing on integrating Salesforce Data Cloud with MuleSoft and Informatica to enable enterprises to move beyond static data and achieve true AI-driven action.
Responsibilities
- Owns quota for both MuleSoft and Informatica, driving ACV across both products.
- Lead deep-dive sessions with CIOs and Data Architects to uncover fragmented systems and data quality issues.
- Position the Data Foundation as the essential layer for every AI initiative.
- Orchestrate the ecosystem by commercially engaging with both MuleSoft and Informatica, while partnering with technical specialists to solve complex data gravity problems.
- Identify "AI-Ready" whitespace across both products, showcasing how MuleSoft's integration layer and Informatica's data management capabilities can automate workflows and prepare the enterprise for an autonomous future.
- Translate technical capabilities into high-level business ROI, proving that a robust Data Foundation built on MuleSoft and Informatica is crucial for successful AI and data investments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience, with a proven track record selling complex, technical solutions to C-suite executives, particularly CIOs and CTOs.
- Executive-level business acumen, able to translate technical capabilities into board-level business outcomes.
- Comfortable navigating and leading in a heavily matrixed environment, with experience aligning internal stakeholders, mobilizing extended teams, and driving consensus across complex selling ecosystems.
- Experience as the commercial quarterback in a team-selling model, coordinating technical specialists, solution engineers, and partner resources to deliver as one unified solution.
- A natural curiosity about the evolving AI and agentic landscape, with a strong understanding of integration and API market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer pain points.

Pay
The typical base salary range for this position is $62,250 - $189,350 annually. Specific ranges for certain job locations can be discussed with your recruiter.
