About the role

As a Commercial Plumbing Mechanic at Walton & Company, you will play a crucial role in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems for commercial and industrial facilities. You will work alongside an experienced team dedicated to delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, and repair commercial plumbing systems, including piping, valves, fixtures, and equipment
  • Install and maintain water supply, drainage, waste, and vent systems
  • Repair and maintain plumbing equipment, such as water heaters and boilers
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and diagnose plumbing systems
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes and safety standards
  • Safely operate hand and power tools
  • Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and coworkers
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and material records
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • A valid driver's license with reliable transportation
  • 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience preferred
  • A Pennsylvania and/or Maryland Plumbing License preferred
  • Trade school or apprenticeship training preferred
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • A dependable work ethic
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications
