About the role
As a Commercial Plumbing Mechanic at Walton & Company, you will play a crucial role in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems for commercial and industrial facilities. You will work alongside an experienced team dedicated to delivering exceptional results.Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and repair commercial plumbing systems, including piping, valves, fixtures, and equipment
- Install and maintain water supply, drainage, waste, and vent systems
- Repair and maintain plumbing equipment, such as water heaters and boilers
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and diagnose plumbing systems
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes and safety standards
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and coworkers
- Maintain accurate job documentation and material records
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- A valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience preferred
- A Pennsylvania and/or Maryland Plumbing License preferred
- Trade school or apprenticeship training preferred
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- A dependable work ethic
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
