Plumber Mechanic - Commercial Construction

About the role

Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial construction projects. Works closely with project managers and other trades to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair various types of plumbing fixtures and systems
• Perform leak detection and repair work
• Ensure adherence to local plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to resolve issues promptly
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• At least 2 years of related experience in commercial plumbing
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions

Skills

• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Familiarity with plumbing systems and components

Pay
