Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Plumber to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This role requires a professional with a robust background in commercial plumbing, who is adept at consulting on a variety of projects, including healthcare, education, multifamily, hospitality, industrial, and other commercial projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various piping systems and plumbing codes, and be highly proficient in reading construction drawings and specifications. Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and consultation on commercial plumbing projects, including healthcare, education, multifamily, hospitality, industrial, and other commercial ventures.
- Install, repair, and maintain copper, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and gas piping systems.
- Read, interpret, and execute construction drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all plumbing installations adhere to local and national plumbing codes.
- Install fixtures and sewer lines, ensuring that all installations meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to design efficient plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot and solve complex plumbing issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide training and guidance to junior plumbers and apprentices, fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing
- Proven experience in healthcare, education, multifamily, hospitality, industrial, or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in installing and maintaining copper, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and gas piping systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of local and national plumbing codes and installation practices.
- Experience in fixture installation, sewer line installation, and pipe installation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
- Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Valid plumbing license and clean driving record.
