Commercial Plumber

RQ is seeking experienced Commercial Plumbers to support our Mechanical team for projects located in Pensacola, FL and nearby areas. All work is performed on a military installation and is paid in accordance with Davis-Bacon prevailing wage regulations applicable to the site. This position is part of our talent pipeline, and we are seeking individuals interested in future opportunities to join the RQ mechanical team.

About the role

Plumbers will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and related equipment on active construction sites. The position requires solid mechanical aptitude and the ability to ensure all installations meet relevant codes, specifications, and quality standards. Work must be completed using appropriate tools and safety procedures, while upholding RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• At least 4 years of journey-level plumbing experience (or equivalent) in commercial construction or facility maintenance
• Prior work on government, military, or large-scale commercial projects is a plus
• Evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire
• Successful completion of a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check for access to job site at military base

Pay

Hourly Pay: $19.76 - 42.00 per hour, depending on experience
