Command Center Flex Officer

Rates: Security Officers - $18.50/hour, Command Center Flex Officer - $21.63/hour. Valid driver’s license and driver training required.

About the role

Security Officers observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel. Command Center Flex Officers receive specialized training in alarm response, fire-panel monitoring, security-camera oversight, phone dispatch, and directing Mobile Officers. All officers conduct proper sign-in procedures for access control, maintain a visible security presence, and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras, address alarms, and operate fire panels (Command Center role).
• Answer phones and direct Mobile Officers (Command Center role).
• Conduct sign-in procedures for access control.
• Draft incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation.
• Patrol client premises and enforce site regulations for personnel, visitors, and property.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and visitors.
• Remain alert, professional, and responsive during shifts.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet and maintain all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods; may include climbing stairs, inclines, and uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
• Strong computer skills and solid written communication ability.

Qualifications

No prior security experience is necessary. Candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds are a strong fit. Full training provided for those new to the security industry.

Pay

Security Officers: $18.50/hour. Command Center Flex Officers: $21.63/hour. Weekly pay.
