Command Center Flex Officer

Security Officer positions available at various posts with different pay rates: $18.50/hour for standard posts and $21.63/hour for Command Center Flex Officers. Command Center roles require driver training and include responsibilities such as addressing alarms, monitoring security cameras, and managing access control.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proper sign-in procedures for access control to ensure safety and security of the premises.
• Monitor security cameras, address alarms, and operate fire panels.
• Answer phones and direct Mobile Officers as needed.
• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites to maintain security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Provide customer service and information to employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Maintain a visible security presence and assist with emergencies or incidents.
• Draft incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
• Patrol a variety of locations, enforce regulations, and preserve order.

Requirements

• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet and continue to meet all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, including climbing stairs and navigating inclines or uneven terrain.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Strong computer skills and solid written communication abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for Command Center roles.

Qualifications

• No prior experience necessary; training provided for those new to the security industry.
• Candidates with backgrounds in retail, food service, or hospitality are a great fit.
