Command Center Flex Officer

Security Officer positions available at various posts with different pay rates: $18.50/hour for standard roles and $21.63/hour for Command Center Flex Officers. Command Center training and a valid driver's license with driver training are required for the Flex Officer role.

About the role

Security Officers observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel. Command Center Flex Officers are trained to address alarms, monitor fire panels and security cameras, answer phones, and direct Mobile Officers. Officers conduct proper sign-in procedures for access control and maintain a visible security presence while providing assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report activities and incidents to ensure security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Conduct proper sign-in procedures for access control.
• Maintain a visible security presence and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Address alarms, monitor fire panels and security cameras, and direct Mobile Officers (Command Center Flex Officers).
• Draft incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation as needed.
• Provide customer service and information to client’s employees and customers.
• Enforce regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, which may include climbing stairs, walking on inclines, and uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• Strong computer skills and solid written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Alert, professional, and responsive demeanor.

Qualifications

No prior experience is necessary. Candidates with a background in retail, food service, or hospitality are a great fit. Training will be provided for those new to the security industry.

Pay

• Security Officers: $18.50/hour.
• Command Center Flex Officers: $21.63/hour.
