How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing

The Pilot Resources is looking for a Co-op to provide support in all areas of Crew Resources (but not limited to) administration of pilot leaves of absence, retirements, verification of outside flying, and new hires. The successful candidate will commit to a minimum of 3 rotations: Fall 2026, Summer 2027, Spring 2028.

Summary Of Responsibilities

  • Aids in pilot rotation and schedule updates and maintains DBMS data and personnel files.
  • Provides analysis/research for Crew Resources, OE training planning and scheduling strategic initiatives, and supports ALPA reporting.
  • Identifies required types of training for all pilots returning from leave status or awarded through an Advance Entitlement.
  • Responds to inquiries sent to Crew Resources email and answers phone calls requesting category and staffing information.
  • Maintains accuracy and distributes pay protection to pilots.
  • Safeguards pilot assignment files and job codes.
  • Keeps VTS and processes all requests to block pilots' schedules.
  • Identifies and creates new or improved processes to support the changes in the operation.
  • Assists in identifying manual processes, providing innovative and new ways of completing tasks to provide efficiencies in all areas of pilot resources and scheduling.
  • Must have the ability to anticipate and plan for competing priorities while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Communicates with pilots regarding proprietary, confidential, legal, complex, or sensitive issues.
  • Works in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Uses Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Maintains high attention to detail to consistently maintain accurate personnel records affecting pay, job status, and benefits.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Actively enrolled in an undergraduate program - Bachelor's degree in-progress.
  • Good analytical and organizational skills required.
  • Exposure to analytical/reporting software required.
  • Ability to communicate with pilots regarding proprietary, confidential, legal, complex, or sensitive issues.
  • Quickly familiarize within topics including the Pilot Working Agreement (PWA), Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), DBMS, SAP and OSS.
  • Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
