CNM - Women's Health (Multi-office)
About the role
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and empathetic Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our highly regarded midwifery practice. Our practice, also known as The Center for Women's Health, a Hackensack Meridian Practice, has been caring for generations of women at the Jersey Shore for 24 years. We consist of three full-time CNMs and operate as an independent practice with two office locations in Avon and Brick.
We provide full-scope midwifery care, including office-based and hospital support for patients at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Our practice supports unmedicated birth options such as hydrotherapy, as well as epidurals for pain relief. We also offer well-woman gynecological health care from the teen years through menopause and beyond.
We maintain a supportive, collaborative physician relationship and foster a unique, caring work environment where colleagues support one another and their patients.
Responsibilities
- Provides obstetrical services to prenatal patients throughout pregnancy.
- Orders lab work and tests in accordance with national standards.
- Provides education and support to prenatal patients and families.
- Documents assessment and plan for each patient in accordance with approved standards.
Requirements
- Licensed Board Certified or Board Eligible CNM.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a CNM.
- Licensed in New Jersey (NJ RN and CNM required).
- Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills, ethics, professionalism, adaptability, and determination.
- Working knowledge of an EMR is highly desired.
Qualifications
- BSN, MSN, or graduate of an accredited midwifery program.
- Certifications: AMCB, NRP, BLS.

Pay
The minimum base pay for this role is $126,464.00 annually. The posted rate reflects a reasonable good-faith estimate of the minimum base pay at the time of posting and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package. The starting rate may vary based on factors such as labor market data, experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, internal equity, and budget considerations.
Schedule
Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
