Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a growing women's healthcare practice. A Nurse Midwife with a strong passion for providing high-quality, compassionate care to women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and across their reproductive health journey. This position offers opportunities for inpatient and outpatient care and is available on a full-time, part-time, or contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal health and identify potential complications requiring additional intervention.
  • Perform comprehensive women's health examinations, including pelvic, breast, and Pap examinations.
  • Order, perform, and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests and screenings.
  • Provide contraceptive counseling and reproductive health education.
  • Contraceptive procedures and other women's health procedures are a plus.
  • Educate patients regarding preventive care, disease detection, reproductive health, and healthy lifestyle practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing, Midwifery, or a related field.
  • Current Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) board certification.
  • Current and unrestricted Georgia Nurse Midwife license.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience practicing as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
  • Previous experience in a private OB/GYN or women's healthcare practice strongly preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of prenatal, obstetric, postpartum, and women's reproductive healthcare.
  • American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) certification/membership preferred.
  • Experience with contraceptive procedures and reproductive health services.
  • Experience providing both inpatient and outpatient women's healthcare.
