About the role

Team consists of 4.6 CNM hospitalists; partnership with North Charlotte OB/GYN and Eastover University OB/GYN, delivering at AH University City Hospital
2100 annual live births at Atrium Health University City
Level III NICU
NXM rotation

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a dedicated team of Certified Nurse Midwives and experts in Women's Health
• Provide care for laboring patients
• May include providing obstetrical and gynecological care in the clinic or office setting

Requirements

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and approved to practice as a Nurse Midwife in the state of NC
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider from AHA
• Minimum 3 years as a CNM

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as a CNM
• Experience working in an inpatient care setting, clinic or office setting
• Experience collaborating with a supervising physician

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

Pay

$54.90 - $82.35 based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training

Schedule

4 (24 Hour) Call Shifts per month. Some flexibility with a hybrid of 12 hour and 24 hour call shifts
