CNA - Weekend Morning Shift

Responsibilities

• Providing personal hygiene care such as bathing, grooming, and mouth care
• Assisting with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
• Administering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision
• Preparing meals considering client preferences and special diets
• Offering companionship and engaging in activities tailored to individual needs
• Performing light housekeeping duties
• Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting changes in clients' condition
• Following the care plan and completing tasks via EVV system
• Upholding patient confidentiality and reporting any abuse or neglect
• Ensuring safety and independence within clients' abilities, without administering medications

Qualifications

• Current certification with DFS
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and following directions
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
• Sympathetic attitude toward patient care

The role involves direct patient care with physical demands, travel required within specified areas, and flexibility based on caseload.
