About the role
Seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for home care services on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care, including personal hygiene, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
- Assisting with prescribed exercises and basic nursing duties under supervision.
- Preparing meals considering client preferences and dietary needs.
- Offering companionship and engaging in activities tailored to individual interests.
- Performing light housekeeping tasks and maintaining accurate records.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in clients' physical or psychosocial conditions.
- Using EVV apps and timesheets for task completion, demonstrating dependability and punctuality.
- Supporting client independence within their abilities and respecting their privacy and confidentiality.
- Following the care plan strictly and notifying supervisors of any concerns, abuse, or unsafe environments.
Qualifications
- Current certification with DFS.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and following directions.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, and standing.
- Compassionate attitude toward patient care.
