CNA - Weekend Morning Shift

Responsibilities

• Delivering direct patient care, including personal hygiene, grooming, and assistance with transfers and ambulation
• Providing basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision
• Preparing meals based on client preferences and dietary needs
• Offering companionship and engaging in activities tailored to individual interests
• Performing light housekeeping duties and maintaining accurate records
• Monitoring and reporting changes in clients' physical or psychosocial conditions
• Using EVV apps to document tasks and ensuring dependability and punctuality
• Supporting client independence within their abilities and respecting their privacy and rights
• Adhering to the Plan of Care and reporting any concerns related to abuse, neglect, or unsafe environments

Qualifications

• Maintaining certification with DFS
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Effective communication skills and physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting
• Sympathetic attitude toward patient care

The role involves travel within a designated area and physical demands such as lifting approximately 50 lbs. The position emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to care plans, and maintaining confidentiality.
