About the role
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide home care services on weekends, assisting patients in their residences.
Responsibilities
- Delivering direct patient care and assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, transfers, and ambulation
- Providing basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision
- Preparing meals tailored to dietary needs, offering companionship, and performing light housekeeping
- Maintaining accurate records, reporting changes in patient conditions, and following the care plan
- Using equipment like blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes, and ensuring patient confidentiality and safety
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Effective communication skills
- Capable of physical tasks including lifting
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Sympathetic attitude toward patient care
- Demonstrated dependability, adaptability, and respect for patient and family values
- Ability to travel within a designated area
- Adherence to agency policies
This position does not include medication administration.
