About the role
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) providing home care services.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care, including personal hygiene, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
- Administering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision
- Preparing meals considering client preferences and dietary needs
- Offering companionship and engaging in activities tailored to individual interests
- Performing light housekeeping duties and maintaining accurate records
- Monitoring and reporting changes in the client's physical or psychosocial condition
- Completing tasks via EVV app or time sheets, demonstrating dependability and punctuality
- Supporting client independence within their abilities and respecting their privacy and rights
- Adhering to the Plan of Care, always refraining from medication administration
Qualifications and Skills
- Current certification with DFS
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Effective communication skills, ability to read, write, and follow directions
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, perform bending, standing, and other physical tasks
- Sympathetic attitude toward patient care
Role involves travel within specified areas, requires physical stamina, and focuses on delivering compassionate, high-quality home care.
