Pay
Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.
- Shift Differential (Weekend): $1.75/hour
- Sign-on Bonus: $1,200 with a 1-year work commitment (eligibility requires being at least 18 years old to sign a contract).
About the Role
The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides safe, basic care to patients, including taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observing patients for physical or emotional changes. Additional duties include documenting patient information, communicating with care team members, and providing constant supervision as needed. Responsibilities may vary by department.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- CPR certification (American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six months of experience in a clinical healthcare environment
- Six months of experience supporting patients' physical, emotional, and psycho-social needs
