CNA - Float Personnel
About the role
The Nursing Assistant functions within his/her scope of practice under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to assist in providing care and implementing delegated activities of the nursing plan. S/he demonstrates an understanding of basic nursing skills and skills unique to the assigned clinical unit(s).
Responsibilities
- Meets the hygienic, nutritional, elimination, activity, comfort and safety needs of patients.
- Obtains and reports vitals signs (TPR and BP).
- Performs urine reductions, transports (transfers, discharges) patients.
- Obtains supplies/equipment as necessary from designated departments.
Requirements
Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License and National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Skills
Demonstrates an understanding of basic nursing skills and skills unique to the assigned clinical unit(s).

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
