What You'll Do

• Prepare students to become competent, confident Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs)
• Teach theory, laboratory skills, and/or clinical instruction
• Prepare students for the California CNA certification examination
• Mentor and encourage transitional age youth and adult learners from diverse backgrounds
• Evaluate student competency and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain attendance and required documentation
• Foster a positive, professional learning environment
• Work collaboratively with the RN Program Director and instructional team
• Ensure compliance with California Department of Public Health (CDPH) requirements

Qualifications

• RN Applicants: Active California RN license, Minimum two years of nursing experience, Meets California CDPH instructor qualifications, Passion for education and mentorship
• LVN Applicants: Active California LVN license, Minimum two years of nursing experience, Meets California CDPH instructor qualifications, Experience supervising CNAs preferred
