CMI IT Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to end users for shop floor control systems.
• Monitor system health and availability through daily checklists.
• Ensure Company customer and local subsystems remain operational.
• Handover pending activities or issues to the next shift and follow up on unresolved items.
• Escalate issues that cannot be resolved quickly or require intervention from other IT teams.
• Support rollout of applications and troubleshoot IT-related problems on the production floor.

Qualifications/Education

• Diploma in IT Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year in the following areas:
• Shop Floor Control (SFC) support
• Power BI / RPA
• Servers / IIS / Active Directory / Databases (Oracle / PostgreSQL)
• Troubleshooting and application rollout
• NIFI / Kafka

Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and manage tasks effectively.
• Team collaboration and communication skills.

Working Conditions

• Combination of office and production floor environment.
• Requires standing and walking for extended periods during inspections.
• Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 lbs.
• Occasional travel for supplier audits and quality reviews.
• Exposure to manufacturing noise and machinery; appropriate PPE provided.

$40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
