CMMS Engineer

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles to help deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost.

We are seeking a CMMS Engineer to serve as a system master expert within an Amazon data center region. This role requires designing, developing, and deploying innovative solutions to address operational challenges, working within multi-disciplinary teams, and owning the process of deploying the EAM platform. Responsibilities include supporting local data center teams with asset collection, maintenance schedules, reporting, and training, as well as driving global processes and documentation. You will act as the gatekeeper for mission-critical data in EAM, ensuring accuracy and producing reports. Frequent system enhancements will be required to meet regional or global business needs. There will be 20% travel when launching new locations.

Only candidates with prior data center environment experience will be considered. Effective May 15, 2017, logical access to the AWS GovCloud region is restricted to U.S. Citizens.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges in AWS data centers.
• Own the end-to-end process of deploying the EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) platform in your assigned data center region.
• Support local data center teams with asset collection, maintenance schedules, reporting, and training.
• Drive global processes and document development as part of the global EAM team.
• Act as the gatekeeper for mission-critical data in EAM, ensuring accuracy and producing reports.
• Develop system enhancement modules for core and advanced EAM features to meet regional or global business requirements.
• Travel up to 20% of the time for new location launches.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience.
• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, or 3+ years of facilities management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience.
• 2+ years of SQL Server database query and reporting experience using ETL, data warehouse, and SSAS/SSRS tools.
• Working knowledge of EAM equipment hierarchy, object coding, and naming conventions.

Pay

Base salary range: $96,000.00 – $166,300.00 USD annually. Your compensation package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
